Coastguard Canterbury - Crew Manager

Coastguard Canterbury was founded in 1977 by a group of volunteer boating enthusiasts who wanted to provide support to the many recreational users of the Lyttelton Harbour and Canterbury coast.

Our 29 volunteer crew members are active on Lyttelton Harbour almost every weekend and public holiday providing assistance to people undertaking a variety of recreational activities.

Coastguard is the charity saving lives on New Zealand's seas, lakes and rivers. Our rescue crews are volunteers. Only 15% of funding comes from government.
